MKs Nachman Shai (Kadima) and Daniel Ben-Simon (Labor) spearheaded a letter expressing support for the New Israel Fund. A total of 14 MKs signed the document.

YWN-Israel earlier this week mentioned the fund in a report addressing Justice Richard Goldstone and his ties with anti-Israel organizations.

Many pro-Israel elements point an accusing finger at the New Israel Fund, critical of some of its policy decisions regarding support for organizations deemed less than favorable by critics.
