Wednesday Night News Briefs from Eretz Yisrael


19:00: A Kassam rocket landed in southern Israel. No injuries.

**Firefighters brought a residential blaze on Sprinzak St. in Kiryat Shmona under control on Wed. evening. A family dog was killed.

**Beersheva firefighters late Wed. afternoon recued an elderly woman from a burning structure. She was listed in light condition with smoke inhalation. Fire marshals are investigating.

**11 injured, including 7 children in MVA at Yad Binyamin near Nachal Sorek. Four vehicles were involved.

**Two firebombs were hurled at an Israeli motorist SW of PA-occupied Beit Lechem.
