Chief of IDF Planning Branch Maj.-Gen. Amir Eshel is leaving for the USA on Monday to discuss the impact of the Goldstone Report on military operations in the region in the future.

Eshel will be accompanied by a senior officer in the Judge Advocate General’s Office. The two will be meeting with senior officials in the Pentagon and the Obama administration to discuss the impact of the Goldstone Report, Israel’s response, and the ramifications in the Mideast down the road.
