Policeman Lightly Injured in Meah Shearim Attack

According to combined reports from chareidi sources and officials in Israel Police, a scooter police officer was attacked by a group in Meah Shearim that was taking part in a weekly ‘anti-Zionist’ protest on Sunday. The group approached the policeman, who was apparently passing through the area, and toppled him while flipping the scooter.

The policeman managed to get up and drive off, reportedly sustaining light injuries. He was transported to Shaare Zedek Medical Center. Police are searching for the responsible parties.

  2. i definately understand. the police ALWAYS harass me viciously for nothing all the time. i went to israel and 20 minutes later i trailed behind my travel group about 30 feet and an officer attacked me in the airport shoveing me and yelling at me for no reason…

  3. There is not need for this nonsense. Two things help create this problems, 1st teenagers who are off the derech and have nothing to do so they make trouble and should be reined in and 2nd the police for years have treated the people of Meah
Shearim as rubbish and used clubs and have beaten them for no reason and now they have reap what they planted. Time for meeting to calm these uprisings
