Police are investigating an erev shabbos attack that damaged eight kevarim in the community of Nir Tzvi, near Lod. Police are investigating all possibilities, not ruling out a nationalistic attack.

Ramle police, who are investigating, have not made arrests as of yet. Community officials point out that after the damage was discovered, a search of the area was conducted and none of the metallic plaques and objects were stolen, eliminating the theory of the thieves seeking raw materials, which are later sold by weight.
