President Shimon Peres on Wednesday, marking International Holocaust Remembrance Day, delivered a historical address in Hebrew before the German parliament, the Bundestag.

Mr. Peres’ address was simultaneously translated for the parliamentarians. He also recited Kaddish marking the 65th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, remembering the fallen, including his grandparents. The president was accompanied by a number of German-born survivors.
