The man who threw two shoes at Supreme Court Chief Justice Dorit Beinish during a court session on Wednesday has been identified as Pini Cohen, a man in his fifties. He hurled his shoes as Justice Beinish during a hearing addressing medical cannabis, breaking her eyeglasses and knocking her off her chair onto the ground.
The two other justices present during the attack, Elyakim Rubinstein and Uzi Vogel were rushed into chambers. Beinish returned to the court about 90 minutes later, seeking to calm the situation, assuring those present that she was unharmed.
It appears the assailant entered the open-door session and asked if this was the courtroom where the chief justice was presiding. Once he confirmed this to be the situation, he took off his shoes, throwing them at her, one at a time.
Authorities report that in 2006, Cohen threatened Jerusalem Family Court Vice President Phillip Marcus, and he was released on bail at the time. That threat also involved a physical assault against his attorney, who he injured.
Justice Beinish received telephone calls from President Shimon Peres and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, both of whom are in Europe, taking part in International Holocaust Remembrance Day observances.

It’s not Pini who should be removed from the court but the self-appointed judge Beinish who thinks she’s above the law and has the chutzpah to run the country behind the scenes. Israel must get rid of this evil witch as soon as possible. She’s becoming a bigger terror by the day and a danger to Israel’s existence.
