Israeli Ambassador to Turkey Gabi Levy met on Tuesday in Ankara with Turkish Ambassador to Israel Ahmet Oguz Celikkol, a week after the strained relations between the two countries dominated media headlines.

The meeting was arranged by Israel’s Foreign Ministry, with a spokesman releasing a statement following the meeting that the event was help in a positive atmosphere.
