An indictment was filed on Tuesday against Sarah Branburg, for making off with a Meah Shearim infant last week. Branburg grabbed the infant from his carriage on Spitzer Street, as the parents, the Schwartz family, were taking part in Sheva Brachos.
Authorities report the defendant is homeless, since December 2009, and she took the infant last week, as was reported by YWN-Israel, holding the 6-month-old child for a number of hours until police and the child’s family located her.
The indictment includes a charge of kidnapping.

This could be a great question for Shlomo HaMelech: Who gets to keep the child? The mother who leaves the child unattended or the homeless, carrying woman?
Give it a break.
If they found the kidnapper so fast,
logic dictates, a babysitter was watching while she grabbed it and ran.
