A high-level delegation is leaving Israel for Haiti on Monday night, including the commander of the Homefront Command, Major-General Yair Golan and Chief Medical Officer Brigadier-General Dr. Nachman Ash, the director-general of the Ministry of Health, Eitan Chai-Am, and Danny Laor, who heads the ministry’s emergency management desk.

They will be joining the many other IDF officers, soldiers and rescue agencies working in assist the victims of the earthquake.
