As reported earlier, security agents, police and ISA (Israel Security Agency – Shin Bet) raided Yishuv Yitzhar during the predawn hours Monday making arrests.
It was learned that some 150 law-enforcement agents took part in the raid; with witnesses reported they came in like commandos, wearing ski masks and weapons drawn.
Opposition MK (Ichud HaLeumi) Dr. Michael Ben-Ari spoke in an angry tone when interviewed by Kol Chai Radio on Monday afternoon, explaining the champions of human rights and defenders of law and order should be pointing an accusing finger at police, seeking an explanation for this type of police action when entering a dormitory of 14 and 15-year-old teenagers in the middle of the night. The trauma to the youths he explained should be of concern to all parents he added.
Four of those arrested earlier have already been released. As was reported by YWN-Israel on Monday morning, some of those arrested are suspected of involvement in the attack against a Shechem area mosque while others are believed connected to illegal activities in the Shomron including interfering with police, interfering with Civil Administration agents seeking to serve stop construction orders and other acts of civil disobedience, as well as assaults against police. He is seeking a response, some explanation as to why when the principal of a school, a Ministry of Education recognized school, asks to see a search warrant, he is pushed aside and police enter in a violent fashion, indiscriminately striking students.
Ben-Ari was also irked by the “selective law enforcement”, questioning why nothing is done when shuls in Akko or elsewhere are attacked, or when Har HaZeisim is repeatedly vandalized, or in response to widespread illegal Arab construction, and why only an attack against a mosque becomes a national priority investigation.
The MK reports youths who were present report that at least one youth tried photographing using his cellular phone, but a police commander twisted his arm and confiscated the phone, along with others.
Responding to the accusations, Shai District police officials released a statement that the raid and arrests were conducted in the confines of the law and no violence whatsoever was used.

WHAT nonsense! Do they seriously think (EVEN IF someone from there had what to do with it) they are going to find something related to this arson attack A MONTH LATER, IN THE YESHIVA!!!
AND — even if they thought so, couldn’t they have come during the day, instead of the middle of the night?!?!

The secular establishment is scared to death of the growth and faith of the Torani Le’Umi population. The chilonim know their time is coming to an end, and so there is no limit to how dirty they will fight!

Whenever Arabs complain of IDF brutality we always respond that the IDF is the most moral army in the world. Yet whenever they go after settlers or chareidim at hafganos they are always accused of using excessive force. I can’t figure this out.
#2 – The regular army is one thing, – and Barak’s black-shirts, the Yassamniks and many of the magavnikim (mishmar hag’vul)are another thing.
The average wholesome Jewish boys (including the non-frum ones) who go into the army, are NOT the ones who are beating and terrorizing the youth of the “settlements”.
It is the other groups mentioned above. They are comprised in large measure of russian goyim and the real hard-core religious-hating chilonim, who do NOT look at all on (religious) Jews as, in ANY way, being their brothers.
While most of us are appalled at the number of real goyim that came in with the russian Jewish aliyah, Barak and his ilk are thrilled with it, because it gave him a good source of manpower to draw from, for use in destroying Jewish settlements, and heartlessly beating Jewish “settlers”.
As we can see from recent events, more and more regular soldiers in the IDF (including non-frum) are questioning orders from commanders regarding destroying Jewish homes and arresting the Jews living there. This is a growing problem for Barak since a very high percentage of the members and the leaders of the most elite units in the IDF are religious and DO question such immoral orders.
SO FAR, the first choice the grandson of Meir Kahane z”l who they arrested immediately after the arson attack was found to be innocent and let go. Who will they find next?
