A bomb was detonated in Jordan on Thursday afternoon targeting an Israeli diplomatic convoy in the Hashemite Kingdom. According to Foreign Ministry reports, Israel Ambassador to Jordan Danny Nevo was not in the convoy. Officials in Jerusalem report there were no injuries.
The convoy was heading to Israel, when the bomb detonated about 20 kilometers (12 miles) from the Allenby Bridge Crossing. Diplomatic and security officials were in the convoy.
Jordanian and Israeli officials are investigating.
