According to the London based al-Arabia newspaper, an Israeli delegation made a clandestine visit to Cairo on Tuesday, delivering a message that Israel does not plan another military assault on Gaza similar to Cast Lead.

The report stated the prime minister’s three top advisors traveled to Egypt; National Security Advisor Prof. Uzi Arad, Yitzchak Molcho and Brig.-Gen. Mike Herzog.

The daily HaMevaser adds that America supports ongoing Egyptian efforts to seal off access to Gaza smuggling tunnel network to bring an end to the massive importation of weapons and ammunition.
