In a well-attended ceremony, Chabad officials in Migdal Ha’emek were on hand to officially lay the cornerstone for the new Chabad talmid torah in the city. The new building will house 16 classrooms, as per the guidelines of the Ministry of Education. The new project is possible due to the generosity of R’ Yitzchak Horman, from Ukraine, a staunch supporter of mosdos Chabad in Migdal Ha’emek.

Also present was Deputy Minister of Education R’ Meir Porush, who was escorted by local Chabad rabbonim, who gave him the VIP tour of t he mosdos that exist today.

Later in the day, during the evening hours, there was also a hachnasas sefer Torah, donated by R’ Horman as well.
