PHOTO LINK BELOW: While the Civil Administration continues to destroy the efforts to build at the small S. Chevron Hills community of Neguhot, the residents are equally determined, turning on erev shabbos to rebuild for a third time.
The Ben-David family returned, for a third time, determined to rebuild the Beit HaKerem neighborhood atop a hilltop in Neguhot, bringing along professional builders and plain old volunteers, dedicated friends and idealists who wished to take part in the privilege of once again trying to build a home in Eretz Yisrael. They echoed a single voice, to continue building for as long as necessary until authorities realize tearing down the structure will not work, because they remain determined despite government opposition.
In truth, Neguhot is not unique, and unfortunately, not the only cat-and-mouse game between those Eretz Yisrael faithful and the government which has adopted an iron-fist policy to crush the continued growth of Jewish communities throughout Yehuda and Shomron.
Towards supporting the determined pioneers, a fund called ‘Yibane’ has been established to bring funds to permit the volunteers to continue. This is another effort being launched by the Women in Green organization, which remains at the forefront of grassroots efforts to permit the continued growth of Jewish communities throughout Yosh.
