According to the official website of Hamas’ military wing, the terrorist organization in Gaza has succeeded in smuggling in advanced anti-tank rockets, rockets which they claim can neutralize the IDF’s Merkava tanks, sharply shifting the ‘balance of power’ that existed during Operation Cast Lead.

The report states that Izzadin el-Kassam has armed itself with the advanced rockets which can indeed penetrate the armored outer shell of the Israeli tanks. Terrorist officials stated this represents a major breakthrough in their ability to “strike out at the Zionist enemy”, now possessing the ability to strike tanks and armored vehicles.
