If things go Shas’ way, the Sephardi chareidi party will be the first chareidi body to count itself among the member organizations in the World Zionist Congress.

According to a Galei Tzahal (Army Radio) report, Shas is negotiating towards entering the World Zionist Congress, quoting officials in Shas as working to obtain positions of influence that until now, have been held by the dati leumi and Reform.
