According to a Sunday morning Israel Radio report, an IDF officer of the rank of lt.-colonel attending the National Security College has admitted to plagiarizing chapters of a paper he submitted in his master’s degree program. The material was taken from a student at Tel Aviv University.

The officer is to receive a formal reprimand, with the report adding that after he admitted to his actions, a hearing to discuss a planned promotion was canceled, somewhat vague as to his future and the planned promotion.
