Troubles from at-risk youth reached new worrisome levels in Betar Illit on shabbos, leaving one man injured and demanding the involvement of Hatzolah and police.
A resident in his 50s who commented to a group of at-risk youths regarding their unacceptable behavior on shabbos prompted them to assault him. The incident involving the shabavnikim occurred on shabbos afternoon near the park on Koenig Street.
It appears the youths began taunting a group of avreichim until the man, a gabbai in one of the shuls, reprimanded them on their unacceptable behavior. The youths left the area, but apparently returned later on, finding the gabbai in the area. Outnumbering him, they began striking him, including blows to the head with a stone. The man sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem.

Where is the hafganah? Where are the pashkevillim? Where are the ‘askanim’?
These things SO MUCH make me want to burn every piece of black-and-white clothing I own, and turn Carlebachian.

What in the world are you talking about this is the type of behavior that should make you want to run from the street into the nearest beis medrash and bury your head in a sefer
Beating a single man by a group of thoughs is what we see by Arab mobs not by Jewish children

Apparently this type of behavior knows no ethnic or religious boundaries.
What do you expect when the whole time every time there is a problem people take to the streets and riot instead of using shalom? That is what these kids learn!
