Zaka volunteers on Thursday took part in a search for missing IDF soldier Guy Chever, in the Golan Heights, based on new information obtained justifying the move. The search however was short-lived and called off after a number of hours, apparently after determining there was no point in continuing.

Guy was on his way home from his Golan Heights base when he disappeared on August 17, 1997. He was last seen in the Golan area, in uniform, carrying his military-issued weapon.
