A 25-year-old female died of swine flu in Ha’emek Hospital in Afula. She did not suffer from any chronic illness. She was admitted to a hospital intensive care unit about a week ago, arriving with complaints of shortness of breath. Her condition took a sharp turn for the worse on Sunday and she was niftar on Monday.

In addition, a 51-year-old male with an underlying chronic illness died of swine flu in the hospital on Monday morning as well.
