The radical left-wing Peace Now (Shalom Achshav) organization does not miss an opportunity to blame setters and the nationalistic camp for the nation’s problems, and a very large pot hole or crater in a Jerusalem street is just another example.
In a Peace Now media release from Sunday, the organization speaks of a crater measuring about a meter wide and a meter deep (39 inches wide and 39 inches deep) in the Silwan area of the eastern capital. the media masterpiece then goes on to document ongoing archeological excavations in the area conducted by the Israel Antiquities Authority, blaming the “settler Elad organization”, which is funding the excavations of the historic area.
The organization adds that a year ago, the floor of an area UN school collapsed due to the “settler excavations” and three students were injured as a result.
