Once again, Defense Minister Ehud Barak has not kept to his word, with security forces moving in to Chomesh on shabbos, removing residents and compelling additional chilul shabbos.

There is an unwritten understanding that such actions would not take place on shabbos, to prevent chilul shabbos among security forces and the residents alike.

Sorrowfully, this was not the case this past shabbos, when forces were ordered into the former N. Shomron community, confiscating the food that was prepared for shabbos and ousting the residents.
