Security forces at the Kalandia Checkpoint on Jerusalem’s northern border prevented a stabbing attack on Wednesday morning when they detected a 14-year-old Arab was concealing a knife, which he admitted he was planning to use to stab a soldier.
The suspect in custody told police that he was paid NIS 20 to stab a soldier and when he agreed, the Jalazoun resident gave him the knife to use, realizing that since he is a minor, his punishment will be less severe.
