In an expected move, both the European Union and the United States issued condemnatory statements against Israel following the announced issuing of building tenders for new housing units in Yerushalayim, including areas viewed as “Israeli occupied” by the governments mentioned above. This does not refer to yishuvim, but neighborhoods in the capital such as Pisgat Ze’ev, N’vei Yaakov, Ramat Eshkol, Gilo and more.
The EU followed the White House’s lead, with White House spokesman Robert Gibbs releasing a statement “The status of Jerusalem is a permanent status issue that must be resolved by the parties through negotiations and supported by the international community.”
The White House refers to the planned construction in the nation’s capital as “unilateral action” by Israel, deeming such actions unacceptable.
Gibbs continued, “We believe that through good faith negotiations the parties can mutually agree on an outcome that realizes the aspirations of both parties for Jerusalem, and safeguards its status for people around the world,” brazenly interfering in Israeli domestic decisions once again. He went on to condemn “settlements”, yishuvim throughout Yehuda and Shomron, propagating the misnomer that the yishuvim are the “stumbling blocks” to achieving peace with the PA (Palestinian Authority).

B’vah’chah’shah, build homes in the Yesha, Gaza, ALL of Jerusalem; anywhere in Eretz Yisrael. Ignore the USA, Europe and so many others trying to stop your right to live and grow in Yisrael.

More and more, the Obama administration is letting their true colors fly. I never thought the day would come, when we would hear that the USA is condemning Israel.
Its ridiculous to suggest that Israel building in East Jerusalem is the reason for the conflict in Israel. Israel gave up the most of the West Bank. Israel gave up Gaza. Israel left Lebanon, anyone see peace?
The Lubavtcher Rebbe zt”l said over and over, that Israel shouldn’t give away any land. Every time Israel conceded on something, they lost in the long run.
