It appears the Eida Chareidis will declare the motzei 10 Teves Jerusalem protest against Intel a success since about 4,000 people were in attendance. Others expressed disappointment, expecting a larger turnout. The protest took place on Golda Meir Boulevard, near the Tamir Hotel, not far from the Har Chotzvim offices of Intel Jerusalem.
Among the Gedolei Yisrael Shlita in attendance were Gavaad Eida Chareidi Rabbi Yitzchak Tuvia Weiss Shlita, Admor of Toldos Aaron Shlita, Eida Av Beis Din Rabbi Moshe Sternbuch Shlita, Hagon Rav Michal Yehuda Lefkowitz Shlita, Rabbi Tzadka Shlita and Rabbi Schlesinger Shlita from Geneva.
Rav Weiss called on participants to remain respectful and peaceful and not to resort to violence.
One policeman was injured by a firecracker and a second by a stone hurled at him. There were reports of numerous limited clashes near the main protest group. At about 10:00pm, police called in reinforcements and declared the gathering was illegal, instructing the crowd to disperse. Seven arrests were made and police report a number of department vehicles were damaged.
After the event ended, hundreds of participants tried to close down the major boulevard but police moved in and prevented the success of the action.

I think doing these demonstration on a weekday allows the olem to have video & pictures of the aggressive policemen & WILL result in fewer false arrests
Yediot reported a figure of 1,000. Jerusalem Post reported a figure of 1,500.
Because crowd estimates are usually very subjective, depending on whether the estimator is for or against, the PDNY stopped issuing estimates in order to avoid controversy.
I must be out of touch. What was the reason for the protest?
These kids will look at themselves later in the pictures, and will analyze their own behavior.
The Rebbeim say, that, at that point they have strong potential of becoming ‘children-at-risk’.
I was there as well, there must have been at least 4000 people.
A lot of times it was the police who tried to provoke, i.e pushing, shouting all kind of things, threatening, grabbing our throats (like one of them did with me) etc.
i was also there. a group of journalists were arguing with police because they were not allowed past golda meir to cover the peaceful demonstration of the gedolim, and while some snuck in, most of the reporters coverage was of the kids who ruin it for everyone. i would classify them as rodfim actually as any one of the DOZENS of rocks that hit the police vehicles could easily have caused a driver to lose control and as ywn reported, an undercover cop got hit in the head.
i dont know why one of the cops was not disguised in order to bring some of these israeli bochrim to justice. the eida has some fearless guys and i dont understand why they cant send one volunteer to go into the rock throwing crowd and turn these guys in. seriously injuring (or killing) a yid is not my idea of fun, no matter how bored you may be.
hello… is anyone listening? yesterday the bochurim became decided to throw rocks after the hafgana ended a little too soon for their bored souls. cant this be stopped?
and it ruins the eidas image as well as the chareidi
