Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is scheduled to travel to Egypt to meet with President Hosni Mubarak later this week. According to analysts, the agenda will include ongoing efforts towards obtaining the release of Gilad Shalit and the growing Iranian threat as Tehran continues to defy the international community, heading to nuclear independence.
In an official statement released on Sunday, Netanyahu stated at present there is no deal, and there may not be. He also praised the actions of soldiers who succeeded in tracking down the terrorists responsible for last week’s fatal Shomron shooting attack. The terrorists were eliminated after they would not surrender to soldiers.
A nuclear Iran is not only a threat to Israel, but to moderate Arab states, including Egypt, with an elderly Mubarak, in ill-health, constantly concerned over the possibility of being overthrown by an Islamic fundamentalist regime. He continues working to ensure he will be succeeded by a son, not Islamic fanatics, and cooperating with Israel while Jerusalem launches an attack against Iran would be in Cairo’s best interests, able to condemn the move publically while providing whatever assistance requested by the prime minister.

Pray for Bibi as he is under tremendous pressure. I pray that he will not take counsel from the ungodly but that he will stand for Israel in every area.
Mr. Netanyahu, I hate to say it, but in my sincere opinion, the arab world has you running around like they are playing monkey in the middle with you. You should resign and step down. While your speeches are wonderful, you lost your leadership edge. Israel needs to tighten it’s reigns and face the consequences either way. As it stands, Israel is being slowly defeated and dying a slow death.
