Officials of Israel Police’s Ohz unit, which deals with apprehending illegal foreigners, announced that this year, unlike in previous years, there will be no break in activity during the Xmas and Gregorian Near Year holiday season. In past years, an announced was made that illegals could take a breather and enjoy the holiday season, a humanistic gesture, but this year, officials announce this will not be the case and arrests will continue as the government cracks down, determined to drastically reduce the number of illegal foreign living and working in Israel.
