Security officials manning the Bituniya Checkpoint in the Ramallah district on Wednesday morning acted quickly, avoiding a stabbing attack.

When an Arab male crossing the checkpoint was asked to identify himself, he pulled a knife and lunged at one of the security personnel. He was subdued and taken into custody. There were no injuries to security personnel manning the checkpoint.
