The Matot Arim Action Committee is seeking to enlist mothers and grandmothers in support of the position of Har Bracha Hesder Yeshiva Rosh Yeshiva, Rabbi Eliezer Melamed, whose yeshiva was ousted from the hesder network by Defense Minister Ehud Barak.

“We the mothers and grandmothers of Hesder students support Rabbi Melamed. He is a source of strength for our sons and grandsons who joined the army in order to risk their lives in combat. We insist that the IDF’s operations be limited to security and defense of our people and land (rather than dismantling Jewish settlement i.e. – Matot Arim note) and urge other Hesder Yeshiva heads to stand with Rabbi Melamed on this issue.”
