Prior to heading for the Copenhagen Climate Conference, US President Barak Obama signed a foreign aid bill, which includes $2.775 billion in military aid for Israel.
According to the bill signed two years ago, Israel is to receive $30 billion in defense aid from the United States in the next decade. This current allocation is the second under this ten-year agreement.
For a first time, the PA (Palestinian Authority) will be enjoying a piece of the American foreign aid pie, to the tune of $500,000. The strings attached to the allocation include the funds only being allocated to PA ministries meeting the approval of the Quartet, America, the UN, EU and Russia.

Where is this money coming from? America does not have money for itself why are they giving such big numbers to other countries?!?
Its the best money he ever spent.!!!
#1 Your never happy if he wouldn’t give you would complane just the same – go get a life thank got he’s giving this time!!
Sure, all he wants to do is choke the Izzy’s even more.
It seems that Obama might actually be having fun!
To put things in perspective, that’s about the same about ACORN was slated to get in the stimulus package early this year.
With all due hakaras hatov (maybe) before anyone starts falling in love with obama and kissing his feet, remember that a very substantial percentage of this military aid money MUST be spent IN American, i.e. for American planes, American m-16’s, etc. – Soooo… most of this money does end up right back in America.
Something about this is not right. I can’t believe that the Obama administration is giving this aid without strings attached. Not with all of the pressure the U.S. has been placing on Israel concerning construction even behind the “Green Line”.
