Health officials on Wednesday reported another two deaths related to swine flu. One victim was a 38-year-old profoundly obese woman who arrived at Shaare Zedek Medical Center on December 5th, complaining of shortness of breath.  She presented with a high fever and bad cough and died of the illness on Wednesday.

The second woman is a 23-year-old who suffered from a chronic cardiac ailment since birth. She arrived at Kaplan Medical Center in Rechovot about three weeks ago, diagnosed with the illness and placed in an intensive care unit.

Health officials on Wednesday placed the national death toll from swine flu at 70.
