Ayala, the woman in her 20s who was injured in the motzei shabbos stabbing attack in Gush Etzion is listed in light/stable condition on Sunday afternoon Baruch Hashem. She was injured in a hand and her lower back.

Her sister, Margalit, explains the attacker spoke with her and the man standing nearby before lunging out with the knife, missing the man and stabbing her in the back. After she fell to the ground he then stabbed her in the hand. She was able to call for help after the attacker fled.

Ayala is scheduled to be released from Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital on Monday.
