Leaders of communities throughout Yehuda and Shomron blame the government’s relaxation of security restrictions for the increase in attacks throughout Yehuda and Shomron.
There has been a sharp increase in the number of firebomb and rock-throwing attacks, in line with noticeable reduction in the number of IDF soldiers positioned in communities and along vehicular travel routes throughout Yosh.
In the Benjamin Regional Council area of Shomron, Arabs uprooted seedlings in a fields belonging to Jews and burned a storage shed between the communities of Neriya and Nachliel. Residents add that sadly, this was the fifth time the fields were targeted by Arabs.
Adding fuel to the conflict are radical left-wing activists, who on shabbos arrived in the Shimon HaTzaddik neighborhood of the capital, calling on Jews to “get out”, insisting they have no right to live in the area of the eastern capital known in the media as Wadi Joz, a predominately Arab area that is slowly being bought out, returning Jewish properties to Am Yisrael.
21 people were arrested and 6 security agents were injured in the violence.
