Winter Blast Bearing Down On Tri-State

weather.gifGet ready for a rough and possibly dangerous Wednesday morning commute.

A storm carrying rain, snow (depepnding where you are located) and strong winds is heading towards the tri-state area. The same system has already pounded the Midwest, where several states are covered in deep blowing snow.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory in New Jersey for western Passaic, Warren, Morris and Sussex counties through Wednesday. A flash flood watch is in effect for the Tri-State area Wednesday morning through the afternoon.

Forecasters said snow would develop by midnight and gradually mix with freezing rain and sleet during Wednesday morning.

The weather service says snow accumulations ranged from 2 to 6 inches, with the highest amounts across western Passaic.

Forecasters say the wintry precipitation is changing over to rain.

One thing is likely, when you wake up you’ll likely encounter slushy, icy conditions, so take mass transit if possible. If not, take it slow on the roads and highways.

  1. HKB”H has the best sense of humor. Whenever these global warming nutcases get together G-d shows that HE and not man is still in charge. It makes no difference if its winter or summer, spring or fall.

The religion of man made global warming is PURE APIKORSIS.
