Galei Tzahal (Army Radio) on Monday did more than its share to incite against the frum community, dwelling on a Poalei Agudah Bank conference scheduled to take place in Ramat Gan on Tuesday, an event that is for men only.

Invitations were sent to male clients only, prompting Army Radio to charge the bank with “Taliban” type policies, discriminating against female clients of the bank.

In response, bank officials released a statement that they did not develop the concept of separate functions for men and women in the chareidi world, as is the custom on mehadrin buses and in other areas of the chareidi lifestyle, and this is simply a step to accommodate the very same population.
