Organizers are confident that 10,000 or more supporters will turn out on Wednesday for the Jerusalem protest against the cabinet’s 10-month construction freeze throughout Yehuda and Shomron. The event will take place at Paris Square, near the Official Prime Minister’s Residence.
In addition, on Monday afternoon, ‘Hilltop Youths’ are expected to disrupt traffic by blocking key intersections around the country in yet another protest move.
Danny Dayan, who heads the Council of Settlements, told an urgent gathering in Yishuv Ofra on motzei shabbos that in an “extreme situation, government orders such as these must be ignored and residents to be will to defy the effort to halt any and all construction.
