The wedding of the daughter of a government minister is no small event, but when the minster is also the head of the Shas Party the turnout is even more significant.
Hundreds were on hand monday to personally wish Yishai mazel tov at the chasnah of a daughter, including rabbonim, public officials, elected officials, and askanim.
The event was held in Jerusalem’s Binyanei Ha’uma (Jerusalem Convention Hall) and the mesader kedushin was Maran HaGaon HaRav Ovadia Yosef Shlita.

I can testify to the number of people there. I was already wondering last night, on bus 31, why there were SO many cars parked in the area. All the way from Mechlaf Kiryat Moshe along Misrad HaChutz, the Crowne Plaza and Binyanei HaUma down to Agrippas, there were parked cars EVERYWHERE on the sidewalks.
