The coalition on Monday defeated three no-confidence motions in Knesset. The first was presented by the Ichud HaLeumi party in response to the announced 10-month construction freeze throughout Yehuda and Shomron. It was defeated in a 42-2 vote with 16 abstentions.
The second was presented by Kadima, on behalf of the nation’s lower-income sector, attacking the government’s economic policies. It was defeated in a 44-25 vote with one abstention.
The third was presented by the Arab parties, citing the ongoing discrimination against the Arab sector in the education sphere. It too was defeated, in a 45-22 vote with one abstention.
