MK (Ichud HaLeumi) MK Dr. Michael Ben-Ari wants imprisoned Fatah Tanzim faction head Maran Barghouti punished for granting a number of media interviews from prison, without authorization.

Together with his parliamentary aide Itamar Ben-Gavir, Ben-Ari points out that it is unacceptable that the terror leader, who is serving five life sentences, is permitted to scoff at prison authority regulations, repeatedly, and Yigal Amir is harshly punished for granting a single interview, which was never aired.

The two informed prison officials that if they do not take action, they will be left with other alternative and will be compelled to take the matter to the High Court of Justice.
