MK (Shas) R’ Chaim Amsellem wants NIS 1 million bond posted for each terrorist being released in a prisoner deal, a bond that would be contingent on the released terrorist not returning to his previous ways for at least ten years.
If the deal is broken, the forfeited funds would be used towards paying compensation to terror victims.
Amsellem explains that today’s arrangement is absurd, requiring terrorists sign a statement promising not to return to a path of terror, then permitting their release.
