A tragedy struck the Negev community of Tifrach on erev shabbos, during the morning hours, when a man in his 50s entered the mikve and seemingly lost consciousness and suffered a fatal drowning. EMS personnel were summoned but the victim was R”L pronounced dead on the scene.

Sources tell me that it happened on the way home FROM yhe mikve not in the mikve. Please check it out. His name is Assaf Meir Ben-Zev. He learned in Lakewood for a short while before and after learning in The Livingston Kollel for almost 5 years.
