Expediting Disengagement Clemency

The Knesset is handling the new bill to permit clemency for some 400 disengagement victims, people who opposed the expulsion of Jews from Gaza and are now facing criminal charges as a result of their actions.

The bill is expected to pass the Knesset Foreign Affairs & Defense Committee on Monday, and from there, it will immediately be brought to the Legislation Committee and to Knesset for second and third readings to pass it into law.
