Israel health officials report another death resulting from swine flu. The victim was a 19-year-old female from the Sharon region who was afflicted with a chronic illness from birth. The girl’s condition demanded round-the-clock care.
She was brought in with a high fever on Tuesday, presenting with symptoms of pneumonia as well. Her condition was serious, and it continued deteriorating rapidly, leading to death on Wednesday. Health Ministry officials reported she became the 44th fatality of the illness.
As we go to print, YWN-Israel has received information that a 66-year-old chronically ill man died of the illness in Sheba Medical Center, becoming the nation’s 45th victim.
