Hebron Winery has donated 600 bottles of wine to the Chevron community for shabbos, Parshas Chayei Sara, which years ago become Shabbos Chevron, a shabbos on which the community hosts thousands of Jews from areas of Eretz Yisrael and many from abroad, who come to spend this special time in the Holy City.

According to R’ Mordechai Klein, “we view ourselves as part and parcel of the Chevron Jewish community, and as a factory which produces a product for shabbos kodesh, we feel compelled to be a part of this special shabbos”.

The Klein family, affiliated with the Belz chassidus, established the winery some 30 years ago. The business continued to grow, now producing tens of varieties of wine.
