Kalandia Protest was to Mimic Falling Berlin Wall

YWN-Israel reported on Monday that two Arabs were arrested in a stormy protest as they worked to topple a portion of the security partition barrier in the Kalandia area, on Jerusalem’s northern border south of PA (Palestinian Authority) controlled el-Bireh.

It appears the Arab protestors were joined by left-wing Israelis, who felt the timing of the event was opportune, using the 20th anniversary of the toppling of the Berlin Wall to draw a comparison to their plight.

The event was covered by the media and it did indeed contribute to the ongoing left-wing effort to undermine the policies of the governments of Israel, left and right-wing alike, all concerned with the security of residents, thereby agreeing regarding the need for the partition barrier, which has Baruch Hashem succeeded in preventing many bus suicide bombing attacks according to security officials.
