The state has pushed for an urgent court session, succeeding in having the matter placed on Wednesday’s (November 11th) agenda in the Jerusalem District Court.
According to the prosecution in the case of the Meah Shearim mom, the defendant is not adhering to the terms of her house arrest release. Responding to the state’s request, Justice Moshe Ravid set the hearing for this week.
The state maintains the mom has yet to forfeit her passport or sign an order prohibiting her from exiting the country as she agreed to do. The state is asking that the mother be ordered back to jail for the remainder of the trial period against her for her failure to adhere to the terms of her house arrest release.
