We all remember Moishe Holtzberg, the survivor of the Mumbai Chabad House terror attack, the little boy seen carried to safety by his caretaker, Sandra, who today lives in Eretz Yisrael, playing a role in raising this precious little neshama.

The major event, marking the yahrzeit of his parents, Rav Gavriel and Rivki Holtzberg HY”D, will be held in ‘770’ in Kfar Chabad, arranged by Tzeirei Agudas Chabad, will be Moishe’s upsheirin.

A tent will be constructed outside ‘770’ to accommodate the expected large number of participants. Preparations were underway last week in the office of Rav Yosef Yitzchak Aaronoff, who heads the Tzeirei organization, conferring with R’ Shimon Rosenberg, Rivki Holtzberg’s father, who together with his wife, family and Sandra, are raising Moishe. The event will be taking place at the very same location where the funeral procession began a year earlier.

The event will take place on Wednesday night, Rosh Chodesh Kislev 5770. Some 2,500 people have been invited, members of the Holtzberg-Rosenberg families, friends and rabbonim. Many of the guests will be Chabad shluchim from around the world. Members of the political community will also be in attendance, including cabinet ministers.
