Tuesday Afternoon News Briefs from Eretz Yisrael

**2 Taibeh residents were killed and 3 moderately injured in a head-on collision on the Azzoun Bypass Road in Shomron.

**Snow accumulations reported on Mt Hermon Tuesday morning.

**The Petach Tikvah Magistrate’s Court levied a NIS 1,800 fine against a taxi driver who threw a cigarette butt during a fare to Ramle. The driver denied his guilt and refused to pay the NIS 250 fine, preferring to stand trial.

**Jerusalem Councilwoman Yael Entebbe filed a complaint with police, documenting she was threatened on Facebook by someone with an Arab name due to her actions to lower the volume on mosque loudspeakers in the Jerusalem area.

**Water officials reported on Tuesday morning that the Kinneret’s level increased 3 centimeters over the past 24 hours.  The Kinneret gained a total of 7 centimeters since the rainfall began last week.
