IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-General Gabi Ashkenazi, ISA (Israel Security Agency – Shin Bet) Director Avi Dichter and Rav Elimelech Fuehrer on Tuesday night visited the Ezras Torah home of Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, the Rav of the Kosel and Holy Sites.

According to people close to R’ Rabinowitz, Ashkenazi and the rabbi maintain close ties, speaking on a regular basis. The three were with R’ Rabinowitz for about 40 minutes Chareidim reports. The report indicates the gathering was a yomtov courtesy and nothing of major significance was discussed.
